Terms of use

Good Scran provides meal discovery, portion planning, weekly planning, shopping-list and cooking-guidance tools. Features may change as the service is improved. We may suspend a feature where reasonably necessary for maintenance, security or legal reasons.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless caused by our failure to keep the service secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Meal, nutrition, cost, timing, temperature and allergen information may be estimated and must be checked against product packaging and your own requirements. Good Scran is a planning service, not a medical or dietetic service. The full safety position is set out in the nutrition and allergen disclaimer.

You must not misuse Good Scran. In particular, you must not:

• attempt to access another person's account or restricted administration tools;
• interfere with the service, introduce malicious code or circumvent security controls;
• use automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service; or
• copy or exploit Good Scran content in breach of intellectual-property law.

Guest plans and preferences may be stored only in your browser. Clearing browser data, changing device or using private browsing may remove them. Signed-in member plans are stored with your account until you remove them or delete the account. You should not rely on either service as the only permanent copy of information you need.

Good Scran's branding, interface, original text and software are protected by intellectual-property rights. You may use the service for personal, non-commercial meal planning. Product names and third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, Good Scran is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, business losses arising from consumer use, or loss caused by inaccurate information supplied by a user or third-party product source.

You may stop using Good Scran at any time. We may restrict or close an account where these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, where necessary to protect users or the service, or where required by law. Where reasonable, we will explain the action taken.

We may update these terms to reflect service or legal changes. Material changes will be communicated reasonably. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
